This rehabilitation machine will help our student-athletes.
Injured Auburn student-athletes work hard to return to competition, and we need equipment that will work as hard as they do. Funds raised on Tiger Giving Day will go toward purchasing the BTE Eccentron, an eccentric leg press, that will help our student-athletes rehab faster.
Using eccentric (negative) resistance, Eccentron makes rehabilitation from lower extremity injuries more effective and efficient.
“The results we see are instantaneous,” said David Walsh, Auburn Athletics director of physical therapy. “There’s no doubt that it would be a game-changer because we can accelerate the rehab faster. It’s something I know that we can use in here every day.”
Eccentron provides a baseline to be able to track improvements and outcomes earlier in the rehab process while programming and recording every repetition.
By supporting this Auburn Athletics project on Tiger Giving Day, you’re helping our hard-working student-athletes get back in the game. War Eagle!
