Engage Auburn University Students in Rural Healthcare

This Tiger Giving Day, Auburn University Outreach asks for your help in establishing a Rural Healthcare Engagement program that allows Auburn University students in all healthcare-related fields of study to engage with the Rural Healthcare Project (RHP), a University Outreach initiative in partnership with the Colleges of Pharmacy, Nursing, Human Sciences, and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System that addresses significant health disparities across rural Alabama. 

The Rural Healthcare Engagement Program will provide students real-world, hands-on professional work experiences; networking with community leaders, healthcare professionals and advocates, and promoting strategic dialogue to address rural healthcare challenges, such as workforce shortages and access to quality, equitable and affordable healthcare. 

This is Auburn University enhancing quality of life throughout Alabama and beyond through outreach, students and faculty. This Tiger Giving Day, help Auburn University Students engage, serve, and have an immediate impact on rural healthcare in communities across Alabama.
