Equip Auburn Nursing Students with the Nursing Skills Bootcamp

The Nursing Skills Bootcamp is a transformative program designed to equip senior-level Auburn nursing students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful transition into their preceptorship.

This Tiger Giving Day, help us raise $20,000 to ensure we can continue to offer this intensive experience that caters to the needs of soon-to-be graduates as well as recent nursing alumni, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes mentorship and professional role modeling. 

This experience is meticulously crafted to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom and the practical demands of real-world nursing.

The Bootcamp builds on a comprehensive curriculum that addresses the diverse array of skills required in the fast-paced, dynamic field of nursing. From decision making in critical-care situations, to mastering the latest techniques in pediatric nursing, students will undergo hands-on training led by dedicated faculty drawing on best practices and their own expertise.

Mentorship is a cornerstone of the Nursing Skills Bootcamp, and the intergenerational exchange of ideas and experiences creates a rich tapestry of learning. The mentorship component goes beyond imparting technical skills to encompasses the cultivation of a professional identity, and the development of a holistic approach to patient-centered care.
