The Canine Performance Sciences program in Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine advances and innovates canine detection technologies around the world. Our team explores basic and applied-research frontiers that increase the capabilities of detection canines.
Our dogs can find biological and chemical targets such as explosives, weapons, narcotics and even help conservationists protect the environment from invasive species and other threats.
Auburn Dogs work and play hard, and they deserve to rest hard too! This Tiger Giving Day, we are raising funds to provide these canine heroes with a comfortable space to rest and recuperate after a long day working to protect us.
Your gift will allow us to purchase enrichment equipment for our dogs like elevated dog beds, soothing sound machines for relaxation, and TVs for visual stimulation.
Your generous donations will help maintain our program’s mission of training man’s best friend to become man’s best defense.
