Enable Self-Care Saturdays at The Jule Museum

A sound mind, body and “a spirit that is not afraid” are among the core beliefs of the Auburn Family. In today's fast-paced world, prioritizing mental health and wellbeing is more important than ever. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, one in five Americans struggle with mental health concerns, and the American College Health Association says that over half of undergraduates struggle with moderate psychological distress and loneliness.

Art can be a powerful remedy to these challenges. Self-Care Saturdays at The Jule is a free, semester-long museum series featuring a unique blend of experiences. These sessions nurture the mind-body connection, reduce stress and foster self-expression through art exploration, art therapy, and mindful movement and meditation.

Presenting this impactful program every Saturday during the semester costs $10,000. All Tiger Giving Day gifts supports free admission, “artist in residence” programs, and art therapy facilitators providing expert guidance and creating a safe space for healing.
