Recruit and Retain Teachers in Rural Communities
Auburn University Outreach and the College of Education are offering a Rural Teaching Fellowship where college students receive a stipend while they teach and live in a rural community to help address teacher shortages in provincial areas.
This project allows the current teachers, student-teacher fellows, and K-12 students to learn from each other while incentivizing teaching in a rural Alabama community.
Auburn students have the opportunity for a transformational experience, while K-12 students will benefit by learning from top teacher candidates.
This Tiger Giving Day, please help support teachers and student-teacher fellows as they bring the transformative power of an Auburn education to Alabama’s neediest communities!
